I once was in a place of serious doubt, really wondering if this journey was worth it. I was told I had degenerative arthritis in both my knees, and if I wanted to walk at age 50 I needed to stop doing any kind of training where pressure was placed on my knees. Well, on leg day, that's everything. I felt broken in that moment, defeated even. The doctor asked me "So what do you want to do?". I told him, after I cried, I'm going to figure it out. And I did.
Over the next 8 months I trained my body from the ground up literally. I went to physical therapy for 8 weeks, and learned how to distribute my weight evenly through my feet. From there I trained myself how to walk properly, run, climb stairs, squat, etc. And let me tell you, it was tough. That's putting it lightly. It was HELL. After a long 8 months, I squatted with weight for the first time without pain. It was in that moment I knew this was all worth it.
Now, I'm here to help you along your journey. Wherever you feel stuck, feel like you can't, whatever doubt you have, I can tell you IT WILL BE WORTH IT.
I'm here to show you how to make realistic lifestyle adjustments that will last longer than 30 days, and no, it's not a diet. This journey should be an enjoyable one, one of discovering new boundaries and pushing old limits. The journey is about you. It's about embracing who you are, and working to become who you want to be. Fitness isn't just about a physical change, but also about an internal transformation. When we feel better, we look better. And I want both for you.
So... Let's get to work!
